For qualified electricians who already have Grid Connected Solar units
PV/BS certified
For qualified electricians who already have Grid Connected Solar units and Grid Connected Battery Storage units

You will have access to the course for a period of 24 months.
Full Course
You will need to complete approximately 50 hours of online training and assessment along with 16 - 24 hours of face-to-face training and assessment.
PV certified
You will need to complete approximately 40 hours of online training and assessment along with 16 hours of face-to-face training and assessment.
PV/BS certified
You will need to complete approximately 30 hours of online training and assessment and 8 hours of face-to-face training and assessment.
Deposit of $1500.00 and final payment prior to commencement.

Australian Standards – You will need to access these through Techstreet, SAI global or a reseller. (CHECK WITH SMART ENERGY COUNCIL. Standards Required include:
- AS/NZS 5033 – Photovoltaic arrays
- AS/NZS 4777.1 – Grid connection of energy systems via inverters
- AS/NZS 4509.1 – Stand Alone Power Systems – Safety and installation
- AS/NZS 4509.2 – Stand Alone Power Systems – System design
- AS/NZS 5139 – Electrical installations – Safety of battery systems for use with power conversion equipment
- AS/NZS 3010 – Electrical installations – Generating sets
- AS/NZS 3000:2018 – Wiring Rules
- AS/NZS 3008.1.1 – Electrical installations – Selection of cables
